This blog is designed to give an outsider's perspective on a wide variety of local Philly pubs and rate them according to their ambiance, quality of food and selection of spirits... and T-Shirt Design.

Unofficial Opening Night, Belgium Cafe

The site of our first weekly pub night, Belgian Cafe. Located at 21st and Green Street of the Art Museum area, two of the three Southerners and "that Guy" plus One set out, not knowing that our endeavor would become the first of many. Standing outside I noticed the dark some what unappealing facade with a minimalist advertisement scheme hoping this wasn't a prelude for things to come. Upon entering the Belgian Cafe my fears subsided, the classic eclectic decor with wood stained dark and lights turned low was coupled with a crowed bar serving numerous types of draft beers and spirits galore.

..... More to come.
